CAMEL RACING, for KUWAIT National Day & Liberation Day CELEBRATIONS…Hosts, KUWAIT CAMEL RACING CLUB, President, Vice Presidents & Members …GUYANA, South America ONE of 3 Ambassadors in attendance, with QATAR and CHAD… EACH Race is 8 KMS… Each Race for 12 to 13 minutes…RACING CAMELS in EIGHT YEARS RANGE…Each Race WINNING CAMEL top 3 with SAFFRON ON NECK to indicate WINNERS Saffron LAST for ONE MONTH…MALES with MALES in Races…FEMALES with FEMALES in Races, Females CAMELS are 20 SECONDS faster than MALE CAMELS, simply amazing… RACES ARE NOT MIXED …5 or 6 Races EACH Racing day for ONE WEEk.
February 11 & February 15, 2018:
- GUYANA was Guests of Honor 350 persons – 7 LONG TABLES 50 persons EACH
- Guest of Honor Table IN FRONT of Prof & Dr. Maryann ONE Huge COOKED CAMEL with Yellow Rice in PICTURE = empirical evidence…smile…Feb 11, 2018
- Wife Dr. Maryann is a VEGETARIAN
- Prof & Dr. M ….waited….chefs with knives and plates around……Prof & Dr. M, watching 3 minutes passed smilings, smilings, watching.
- Then HOST whispered to Prof. to CUT CAMEL, so others can eat.
- Prof, Touched/CUT the CAMEL so others can eat
- Prof Had Camel on PLATE with RICE…..but eat RICE and Vegetables.
- Maryann ate RICE & Vegetables
